ABOUT THE PRACTICE

In 1983, dentist, Dr. Dirk de Vos, opened a practice in Glen Austin, Midrand. He is much loved for his outstanding quality of work, the friendly and relaxed atmosphere and his great sense of humor. The practice soon grew to be very large and successful, ensuring beautiful smiles all around.

Sadly Dr. Dirk de Vos had to leave his lovely patients, as he and his wife Marianna de Vos moved to the Eastern Cape where he opened a retirement practice in the lovely town of Port Alfred. He left the practice in the capable hands of the friendly and skilled Dr. Sakkie Geldenhuys, whom has been keeping Midrand’s teeth happy and healthy.

A NEW GENERATION

Dr. Karizaan de Vos, daughter of Dr. Dirk de Vos, has now, exactly 30 years later, taken over where her father left off and is now the new owner of De vos Dental in Midrand and Doringkloof. She qualified at the University of Pretoria and competed her BChD degree in 2010, after which she went to Port Alfred to work with her dad, and has recently moved back to Gauteng to follow in his footsteps. Dr. Karizaan de Vos, together with Dr. Sakkie Geldenhuys, are now working together to deliver top quality dental work.
